Therapeutic Intervention Services
TIS was founded in January 2013 by Adreanna Bartholome Spears, Psy.D., Lili Lutgens, LCSW, and Laura Young, Psy.D. The owners have provided mental and behavioral health services for over 20 years in a variety of settings, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential programs, forensic facilities and community based programs. Prior to creating the agency, each of the founders provided behavioral and mental health services to participants within the Kentucky SCL and Michelle P Waiver programs for many years.
TIS provides clinical services including mental health, behavioral health, and nutritional services throughout Kentucky, including the following areas: Louisville and surrounding counties, Northern Kentucky, Georgetown, Lexington, Richmond, Bowling Green, and Daviess, Hancock, Meade and Breckenridge Counties. In addition to clinical services, TIS provides direct care services through Community Living Support and Community Access.
TIS is committed to promoting community inclusion and enhanced quality of life for all individuals it serves, and to achieving and maintaining the highest levels of quality across all areas of operation.

Owners
Adreanna Bartholome-Spears
Dr. Adreanna Bartholome Spears is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Behavior Specialist. She graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a Masters of Science in Forensic Psychology in 2001. She subsequently earned a Masters of Arts in Psychology in 2004 and in 2007 earned a Doctorate of Psychology at Spalding University. She has experience working with adolescents, adults, and families dealing with mental and behavioral health issues. She has over 15 years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with severe mental illness. She currently focuses primarily on providing services to adults and adolescents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Lili Lutgens
Lili Lutgens is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Attorney. She graduated from Vanderbilt Law School in 1992 and subsequently received her Masters of Science in Social Work from the Kent School of Social Work at the University of Louisville. Ms. Lutgens has been licensed for the independent practice of clinical social work since 2000 and has worked with children, families, and adults struggling with a variety of mental and behavioral health issues. Currently Ms. Lutgens' practice focuses primarily on the provision of behavioral health services to children and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities including Autism.
Laura Young
Dr. Laura Young, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in multi-systems therapeutic intervention with children and adults. She graduated from Missouri State University in 1994 with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and 1997 with a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology. She completed her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Spalding University in 2001. Dr. Young has 20 years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities and comorbid emotional/behavioral issues. She has worked in many environments including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, group homes, day programs, schools, and in-home services. She focuses on changing team dynamics around an individual while building interpersonal skills and coping skills within an individual to improve overall communication and person functioning.
